Description:

Mechatronics has blossomed in this decade, based on the advances in the diverse development of mechanical and electronic technologies. Meanwhile, the difficulty of achieving favourite control of mechatronics system is gradually increasing. The traditional control technology has been unable to realize the effective and accurate control of the nonlinear, time-varying and structure-variable mechatronics system. The continuous development of intelligent control technology provides a new quomodo for solving the control problems encountered in the application of mechatronics system. Intelligent control can achieve effective control of the system with model uncertainty, nonlinearity and multi-task, and be applied to the fields of mechatronics such as numerical control system, robot and machine manufacturing. Lucubrating intelligent control technology in the application of mechatronics system is of great significance to promote interdisciplinary integration.
This special session seeks new theoretical and practical research works on applying intelligent control into mechatronics (industrial, service, surgical, etc.) applications. Authors are invited to submit original papers that describe the latest results and advances in novel theories and their new applications. Specifically, submitted articles MUST NOT substantially duplicate work that any of the authors have published elsewhere or have submitted in parallel to any other conferences that have proceedings or journals. The papers will be peer-reviewed and selected based on their quality and relevance to the topic of this special session.

Session topics include but not limited to:
  • Intelligent control techniques for multi-agent mechatronics systems
  • Intelligent control techniques for mechatronics systems in field of rehabilitation
  • Intelligent control techniques for mechatronics systems in field of surgery
  • Intelligent control techniques for mechatronics systems in field of aeronautics and astronautic
  • Intelligent control techniques for industrial mechatronics systems
  • Intelligent control techniques for biomimetic mechatronics systems
  • Intelligent control techniques for service mechatronics systems

Paper submission:

Prospective authors are invited to submit full-length papers before the submission deadline through the online submission system at https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=lsms2020icsee2020.Further, proposals for special sessions within the technical scopes of the conference are most welcome. Papers submitted for special sessions will be peer-reviewed with the same criteria as used with regular papers. A special session proposal should include the session title, a brief description, and the names, contact details and bio-sketch of the organizers.

See also the Author's kit for paper format.

Accepted papers will be published in the Springer Communications in Computer and Information Science (CCIS) proceedings (EI Compendex). Some high-quality papers will be recommended for possible publication in SCI indexed international journals after expansion and further review, such as Journal of Modern Power Systems and Clean Energy (MPCE), Transactions of the Institute of Measurement and Control (TIMC), Enterprise information system (EIS), Energies, Cognitive Computation, Journal of Control and Decision, Advances in Manufacturing (AIM), etc.
