CALL FOR PAPERS

Workshop on Communication & Control for Distributed Networked Systems

to be held in the frame of

LSMS 2014 - The 2014 International Conference on Life System Modeling and Simulation

ICSEE 2014 - The 2014 International Conference on Intelligent Computing for Sustainable Energy and Environment

20th - 23rd of September 2014, Shanghai, China

TOPICS OF THE WORKSHOP

Networking technologies are widely used for data communication and information change. It is becoming more important how to apply such technologies to modern industrial/control systems with a large number of distributed sensors and actuators. The advanced networking technologies have provided a low-cost solution for effective distributed information processing and controlling, resulting in flexible architecture and reduction of installation and maintenance costs. Consequently, communication and control are the current trend for industrial automation and have applications in a broad range of areas, such as wireless sensor networks, remote surgery, haptics collaboration over the Internet, and automated highway system and unmanned aerial vehicles. This workshop is to investigate the communication and control for distributed networked control systems in automatic control and industrial electronics areas. Topics of interest are included but not limited to:

  • Distributed Event-triggered filtering

  • Distributed Event-triggered control

  • Self-triggered communication for wireless sensor networks

  • Network resource scheduling and control

  • Network bandwidth and control

  • Co-design of Industrial communication and control

  • Network dynamics and control and filtering

  • Distributed Network-based leader-following consensus

  • Network-based tracking control

  • Distributed sensing and filtering

  • Fault-tolerance in networked control systems

  • Sampled-data control and filtering
